Gents,

I am hoping to attend and do not foresee any issues at the moment. I may even have a newbie in tow as well. He has played old squad leader many moons ago. He and I have been just playing basic infantry and SW scenarios based on Starter Kit rules with a little extra rules involved, i.e. concealment and a little more emphasis on some advanced rally phase activities, SW transfer, deploying/re-combining, etc. Hoping I can keep him interested!

On another note, I have been attempting to log, scan, file my new scenario archive. Up until a few years ago I had a huge 5 inch binder with several hundred scenarios filed by date. It just seemed easier to me for filing purposes. Now I have added all action packs with the exception of AP2, all Winter Offensive scenarios and all Journal Scenarios, so I have a couple hundred more to integrate into my scenario archive. I was wondering what some of you fellows do and what do you think of an archive by date or by date and theater? Right now I am leaning towards date and theater, because filing by all the other variables just seems too much of a night mare! Of course I can file by Action Pack, Journal and what not right now, but with all the other scenario choices, A###, or ### it is problematic. Any suggestions?

Brian

Lobo ASL,

I look forward to seeing you.

Brian,

I just file by publication (ie. The scenario code number)

Unfortunately, I had a conflict arise. I had to schedule a client meeting for Saturday, so I won't make it. I will try for March.

Also, if you are looking for alternative sites for the ABQ meets you might check out http://kaboomtestlabs.com/. They have gaming tables and an East and Westside stores. The Eastside store is a pretty interesting place.

So far, so good. I should be there, and my ASL burnout seems to be fading.
