He folks,

Anyone want to help me continue my quest to play all the "core" scenarios before passing?

If someone is intresting in playing a large scenario and trying to play fast would could do:

ASL 069 Today We Attack: Chinese combined arms vs dug in Japanese with plenty of AT guns. PTO

ASL 024 The Mad Minute: Late war American Paratroopers, TD's & AT guns vs Halftrack mounted SS & Tanks trying to break thru the Bastone defenses. Snow (I say give the US the balance)

Sligthly smaller fare

ASL 075 Strangers in a Strange Land: Elite Germans vs Elite French in Norway, the French get a couple tanks. Snow

ASL 046 Birds of Prey: Elite Belgians attack outnumbered German Falschajagers and Engineers, but the Germans get air support. (I say give the Belgians the balance)

ASL 040 Fort McGregor: DTO German night attack on Brits in a wire enclosed fort with sangar and fox holes. Oh yea, the Germans get a bombardment too!

I'd love to play any of these and pre plan it so I can pre pull and pre plan strategy. Any takers?

Keith,

Let me take a peek at these choices and I will give you an idea of where I am leaning! Of the ones offered, the only one I played, I think was Fort McGregor but I have to refresh my memory! Too many beers I have had since I last played that scenario!

Keith,

I could go for ASL 46 Birds of Prey or ASL 75 Strangers in a Strange Land. Let me know what you think? We can figure out a defender and either of us can already have a setup planned, etc. I can pre-pull both scenarios if you would like to minimize your travel kit.

Ft McGreggor looks interesting, although the interest to me is the night rules which I have never played before.

Any one up for another theme meet? I missed the night theme we had a year or two back with the Ute Lake schedule nonsense.

Koz,

We should do a "March Midnight Madness" theme! Lots of cool night scenarios I have been looking at recently. Some stuff in Stalingrad, Hells Corner, Pegasus Bridge. I think some night rules scenarios would be cool!

Brian,

Lets do ASL46 Birds of Prey.

If you are OK with it, I'd like to be the Belgians, I need practice attacking. Go ahead and pull it if you have the time. I''m very busy this week.

C'ya Saturday

PS. do you have the updated scenario card? I can't tell what got updated.

Anyone interested in some WO'13 pack action? I've got my eye on that Merderet scenario.

Great idea! I loves me some night games, especially in the PTO!

That said, I highly recommend a Santa Fe meet, or an ABQ meet where time is not an issue. Night games invariably take longer, both in terms of execution and the soft-factors like more rules dives.

Keith,

I do have the updated scenario card. Main change is that the Belgians get another 8-0 leader. I will pull the scenario and will have a setup ready for Saturday.
