If I go (which is looking fairly likely), it will only be for 3 hours or so. I'll bring along my traveling Paratrooper set, and scenario 14 (Silence That Gun), might be good if actual completion is desired!

Hello folks,

In my continuing quest to play all the core scenarios I ask if anyone would like to play to following:

ASL 011 Defiance on Hill 30 (Basic US vs German Infantry) 9 turns

ASL 040 Fort McGregor (Brit vs German DTO, Night, fortifications, Infantry) 7 turns

ASL 048 Toujours L' Audace (Belgians vs SS Infantry) 8.5 turns

ASL 063 The Eastern Gate (Japanese vs Gurkas, PTO, Guns, Columns) 14 turns with turn 3 sudden death VC.

ASL 052 Too Little to Late (Italian AFVs vs SS, cloaking, Guns, AFVs) 7 turns

ASL 128 The Defense of Luga (Russian vs German) (AFVs, Guns, HIP) 11 turns, this one is big and will require past 5pm playing

ASL 154 (A082) Orange at Walawbum (Japanese vs American) (PTO, Panjis, Guns) 7 turns.

I'll happily play any of the above (an pre pull them), 040, 063, 128 would benefit from pregame say rules review and set up/attack planning.

I'll also play anything else some one is tying to try.

Keith, I'll have ASL 011 with me, and can play to completion if we play fast! It's more like Defiance Below Hill 30 in terms of the defended terrain.

I'll be there tomorrow.

The gentleman that was playing Flames of War last meet that we were talking to has expressed interest in learning the game. I have not heard back from him if he can make tomorrow (I just sent an e-mail today) but I am going to come prepared to teach just in case.

I am thinking of bringing A Bridge too Far to teach on the "Late For Mass " scenario. I seem to remember it being infantry only and the map is pretty straight city fighting there. I plan on pre pulling, so if he doesn't make it I will have that available.

Anyone up for play testing one of the Hedgerow Scenarios? I am getting the itch to get back onto it again so expect me to be HASLing you to play it. ;)

Also. Non ASL. I picked up "Andean Abyss" last week and should have "A Distant Plain", the new Afghanistan game in the COIN series waiting for me at the meet. Both are assymetrical 4 player games Joel developed with the creator of "Twilight Struggle" and "Labyrinth". Seed for future games as I am gung-ho to play.

Speaking of Joel. You still reading this. Not seen you since the demo at Aries. How are you doing? Congrats on Navajo Wars.

Koz,

Bring your HASL stuff. I would also be up for a COIN game - haven't played any of these yet.
They could also handle an odd number of players.

COIN can handle odd players, but you would have to use the AI on one of them or have one player double. (Probably Government and AUC).
